Martina Thomson’s life as actor, artist, art therapist, potter and poet, and marriage with David Thomson writer and radio producer fed these beautifully written poems which come from a perceptive and truthful mind.

She was born in Berlin in 1925 to Austrian parents and died in 2013.
In 2008 Hearing Eye published her pamphlet, Ferryboats, and in 2012 Panther and Gazelle, her lucid translations of the German poet Paula Ludwig.
