Nick Orengo

Nick Orengo was born in London in 1956 and graduated from Essex University in 1983. He won second prize in the Manchester Cathedral poetry competition, judged by Rowan Williams, who was to become the Archbishop of Canterbury. For ten years he was secretary to the late John Heath-Stubbs, who was awarded the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry. His work is Christian poetry written within the traditions of the English canon.
