Familiars

writerLinda Rose Parkes

‘Familiars’, Linda Rose Parkes' third collection, explores the porous walls of identity, of affinities and hazards that reach across species. A book of 'the other' – in which encounter with animal or animal-human is charged with the potential for loss or transformation

‘Parkes explores what is hidden, lost or half-remembered. This is poetry of human connection, of charged and sometimes fearful moments.’  Sue Hubbard.
